It’s utterly disgraceful, there’s no other words to put on it. Enough is enough – this government is quite literally putting foreign people before its own Irish citizens.
Ukrainian refugees will be accommodated in modular homes valued at around €145,000 per unit, it has emerged.
The first such site is being prepared in Mahon, Cork. Refugees will only be required to pay a small fee to live in a fully-equipped dwelling.
It is unclear if the 12,000+ homeless people in Ireland will also be offered similar accommodation.
