A young boy has been hospitalised following a road traffic incident in Co Limerick.
According to The Irish Mirror newspaper, the boy believed to be under the age of 10 was rushed to hospital following the incident which occurred at approximately 1pm in Kilmallock.
It is understood the boy was seriously injured after the bicycle he was riding collided with a car.
Gardaí say an investigation is currently ongoing.
