It may be just 10 days to Christmas which has us all very excited, but for one Dublin couple they will be starting the festivities early after they won a whopping €500,000 on National Lottery All Cash scratch card.
The lucky couple who did not reveal their names collected their prize at National Lottery headquarters recently, said: “They we’re still in shock!”, “We thought we’d won €50,000 but when we arrived here at National Lottery offices, we discovered that it’s actually €500,000.” They further explained “Never in our wildest dreams did we think this would happen to us. “In an instant, our lives have changed forever. It’s going to be a great Christmas.”
The happy couple, who say they wish to remain anonymous, bought the lucky card in Tom Stanleys in the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Co Dublin . They also said the plan to use their windfall to purchase a new home.
