One of Ireland’s biggest hospitals in the country, St James’s in Dublin, has asked that patient showers and bathing be restricted due to a significant water leak and is currently without water.
There have been provisions made so people can wash their hands but otherwise showers and baths have been prohibited.
An internal memo, says that the leak was first reported around 6pm on Wednesday and the hospital has been investigating planning repairs since then.
Patients and their families are said to be disgusted at the fault and the fact they and their loved ones can’t wash properly today.
