Admirable: Joanne O’Riordan gave an inspirational interview on the Ray D’Arcy Show last night

Without a doubt, the one and only Joanne O’Riordan gave one of her best interviews last night on The Ray D’Arcy Show on RTE One.

D’Arcy has had a rough week since last week’s interview with Pamela Anderson. He received extremely bad reviews for the interview which many on social media gave out about. One called the interview “sexist” while another said it was “absolutely disgusting and degrading”.

But last night, luckily for D’Arcy, Joanne managed to pull the calibre of interview back up, but it wasn’t D’Arcy’s doing.

Joanne spoke about travelling to Japan where she received an award for her outstanding contribution to people with disabilities. The 19-yr-old Cork native was born with no limbs but it doesn’t stop her achieving her goals.

She also went into detail as to how nothing stops her and even joked about when she met Enda Kenny, after he commented that she could work her phone better than he can, she thought to herself “I could run the country better than you too”.

Joanne is currently studying Criminology in Cork’s UCC and hope’s to go into media at some point. She also said half-heartedly that she’d consider running for President, had the age limit dropped to 21. Judging by social media, many would much prefer her to the current resident.

A very commendable young lady.
