An Post has issued a commemorative stamp to mark the 200th anniversary of the GPO’s existence.
The iconic building in Dublin began operations as a Post Office back on January 6, 1818, and has been a staple of Dublin’s society ever since.
The new stamp is based on an engraved image of the building by Robert Havell and Son.
