The Irish public could soon be facing another referendum in the coming months ahead as the Government have proposed bill that will see the waiting period for divorces halved.
The decision comes after Fine Gael TD Josepha Madigan has proposed reducing the time period to two years from the current time period of four years.

According to The Sunday Times the referendum could be fast tracked given the fact there is little opposition to the proposal in the Dáil.
