An 18-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision in Dublin this afternoon.
The incident happened in the Clarehill area of the capital, just before 4.30pm. It is understood the motorcycle collided with a lamp post. The young man was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 23-year-old pillion passenger sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Mater Hospital.
