Armed gardai rushed to the scene earlier today, after a man threatened to burn himself inside a Direct Provision Centre in the capital.
The drama unfolded inside a building inside Hatch St. in Dublin. It is understood that a man in his 30s had doused himself with a flammable liquid and was threatening to set himself alight.
Gardai used non-lethal means to take the man down. He was arrested at the scene and taken to hospital.
