At least five people are confirmed dead after a gunman opened fire at Fort Lauderdale Airport in Florida.
The shooting began in the baggage claim area in Terminal 2 in the early afternoon, local time.
Authorities say that the perpetrator is a lone gunman, who is now in custody. At least six people were also injured in the incident.
All flight operations at the facility have been cancelled as a result.
