Best-selling author Sue Grafton has passed away aged 77.
Grafton was best known for writing detective novels in ‘alphabet’ format. She wrote the first one, ‘A is for Alibi’ back in 1982. The last book in the series, ‘Y is for Yesterday’, was published last August.
Most of her novels regularly made best-selling lists worldwide.
The author passed away in Santa Barbara, California, on Thursday night after a short illness
