The US Senate has passed an emergency bill to end the Government shutdown today.
The bill, which needs to be approved by the House of Representatives, extends funding for government agencies for a further three weeks.
The US Government entered a state of shutdown three days ago, after a legislation bill for government funding failed to pass.
The shutdown coincided with the first anniversary of President Trump’s inauguration.
