New York police have shot a gunman dead who was on the rampage in a hospital in the Bronx.
Gunfire broke out at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital at 7:50pm Irish time.
The New York Police Department has advised people to avoid the area.
At one stage, officers could be seen on the roof of the building, their guns drawn.
It’s understood 3 people were shot, including 2 doctors.
