Crisis in the health service laid bare tonight, as it has emerged that 9,000 people were forced to languish on trolleys during April





The deepening crisis in the health centre is revealed tonight, as it emerges that 9,000 suffered on trolleys during the month of April alone.

Overall, figures have doubled over the past 10 years, after plenty of hollow initiatives undertaken by successive Governments.

A number of hospitals across the country regularly report warzone-like conditions at the A&E departments, with chronic overcrowding becoming the norm.
