Watch your speed if you’re out and about today, as Gardai will be out en force, camera in hand.
The operation came into effect at 7am this morning, and will remain in place until 7am on Saturday morning.
The clampdown marks National Slow Down Day, and 1,031 speed enforcement zones will be placed around the country.
