Ireland has been enjoying an unseasonably mild weather spell lately, with a lot of dry conditions and temperatures reaching 15C at times.
Enjoy it while you can however, as a cold front is on its way, bringing freezing daytime temperatures of just 4-5C, expected to dip below zero after dark.
A mass of easterly air is the chief culprit for this marked descent of temperatures.
Monday and Tuesday will remain relatively calm and settled, while Wednesday is expected to be the coldest day of the week.
