The former England, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United footballer Paul Gascoigne has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
According to Sky News, Gascoigne or gazza as he is better known was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault over the weekend.
The former footballer was arrested after a woman alleged that the 51-year-old inappropriately touched her on a CrossCountry train from York.
Sky News say the former England international was arrested by police at Durham train station.
Although he was later released from custody, police say an investigation into the allegations is ongoing.
