Gardai in Dublin are continuing their investigation this morning into what exactly caused a fire at a flat which seen four people hospitalised on Monday night.
It is understood Gardaí are treating the fire which broke out shortly after 11pn on Monday at Tyrone Place block as suspicious.
Gardai say a woman aged in her 30s, who is a mother of three remains in critical condition in St James’s Hospital.
They also say her eight-year-old son is in a critical condition in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin.
Meanwhile her two other children, a 13-year-old boy and a 7-year-old girl, are also being treated in Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin and Temple Street Children’s Hospital respectively.
The scene still remains cordoned off as forensic examinations will take place throughout the day.
