Gardaí in Dublin have launched an investigation after a dog was shot dead at a house on the northside of the city.
It is understood the incident happened at a house on Moatview Avenue, Priorswood at approximately 1am.
Although no one was injured in the incident they did say a number of shots were fired at the back of a house.
Gardaí say an investigation is currently ongoing.
