Gardai in North Dublin have begun an investigation after a woman was allegedly raped by a taxi driver last weekend.
According to Dublin Live, the investigation comes after the woman was attacked in Malahide, on Saturday night.
It is alleged that the woman was attacked by the taxi driver after he dropped off a group of friends before driving to a quiet stretch of road.
Dublin Live say the woman was traveling alone with the taxi man when the attack occurred.
Gardai say they were informed of the incident a short time later an investigation is now underway.
