Gardaí in Dublin have begun an investigation after a 13-year-old boy was assaulted and had his bike stolen in Beaumont.
According to Dublin Live, the boy who has been left badly shaken following the incident was attacked by two males in their late teens on the Beaumont Road at approximately 4pm on Tuesday afternoon.
It is understood the young boy was punched in the face and had his bike stolen by the two teenagers.
Gardaí say they have been made aware of the incident after the boy sustained minor injuries in the attack.
They added an investigation is currently ongoing.
