Gardaí in Dublin are currently searching for a man after an elderly man was stabbed and had his car stolen this evening.
According to The Irish Sun newspaper, the elderly man sustained stab wounds in the incident which occurred at approximately 8pm this evening in the Rutland Grove area of Crumlin.
The victim was apparently approached by a man who proceed to stab him before fleeing the scene in the victim’s car.
The Irish Sun say the elderly man was transferred to St James’s Hospital where he is receiving treatment for stab wounds.
