Gardai in Wexford have are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a 91-year-old woman was sadly killed in collision on Monday afternoon.
The appeal comes after the elderly woman crashed her car into a tree on Trinity Street at approximatley 1:50pm on Monday afternoon.
Although the elderly woman was quickly rushed to Wexford General Hospital, she was sadly pronounced dead at short time later.
Gardai say they are appealing to anyone who may have any information in regards to the incident to come forward and contact them at Wexford Garda Station on 053-9165200.
