Gardai in Swords Co Dublin have confirmed that cocaine worth an estimated €70,000 was seized during a joint operation on Friday.
It is understood the 1kg seizure was made after officers from both the Gardai and Revenue and Customs raised a property in the town.
A 24 year old Irish man has since been arrested and he is currently being detained at Ballymun Garda station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act 1996.
