Gardaí in Balbriggan North Co Dublin have begun an investigation today after a man was stabbed in the town on Friday night.
The man believed to be aged in his 40s, was seriously injured after he received a single stab wound during an altercation at house on the Bath Road in the town at approximately 9.30pm on Friday night.
Although the man was quickly taken to Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital by emergency services, it is believed that his injuries are not life threatening.
