Gardai in Co Cork have launched a murder investigation this morning after a man aged in his 20s sadly died following a stabbing incident in Mallow on Thursday evening.
According to The Sun newspaper, the investigation comes after the man died as a result of a number of stab wounds he sustained in the attack which occurred on Bridge Street in the town.
The paper say the man died a short time later following the attack which occurred at approximatley 9:30pm.
Gardai say investigations are currently ongoing.
