Gardai are investigating the circumstances surrounding a stabbing incident that happened on an Irish Rail service on October 30 last.
It is understood that a man sustained serious injuries while traveling on the 9:40pm Connolly Station to Drogheda service on the date in question. The victim was brought to Beaumont Hospital.
A man in his 20s was arrested and later released while a file is prepared for the DPP.
Gardai are asking any witnesses who may have captured the incident on video to contact Raheny Garda Station on 01-6664300.
