Weather conditions are set to become rather miserable from this afternoon on, as a band of rain is currently moving in from the Atlantic.
Showers will begin developing across Connacht and Ulster towards late afternoon, becoming widespread during the evening.
Wednesday will remain wet and windy for most of the day, with the rain dying out towards evening.
Thursday and Friday will feature a mix of rain and sunshine, with temperatures reaching 19C in places.
