It’s been quite a wet and even cold week, but thankfully blue skies and warm temperatures are en route.
Both Met Eireann and reknown weatherman James Madden have predicted temperatures to skyrocket from tomorrow.
Dismal temperatures this week have brought the average for May back down, but for the first week and a half, temperatures were actually higher for Ireland than they had been for the past number of years.
Madden claims:
“Heatwave after heatwave during the start of the meteorological summer, and several of these heat surges are likely to be of some major significance in terms of the maximum recorded temperatures.”
Meanwhile Met Eireann have been more reserved than Madden, but still claim temperatures will start to hit the late teens and early 20s over the coming week.
Let’s hope all these predictions come through!
