During the midst of the crisis yesterday, Conservative MP, Foreign Office Minister Tobias Ellwood jumped into action and has been labelled a “hero” after trying to save the life of Keith Palmer, the police officer killed in the terror attack in Westminster.
Ellwood is a former soldier and he attempted to give mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and tried to stop the flow of blood in the aftermath of the horrific scene in New Palace Yard.
Mr Ellwood siad:
“I am a witness to a huge tragedy, I was the last one on the scene before he died so I am not allowed to say anything. Number 10 has been in touch so I’ll get into trouble.”
