The trial of Ibrahim Halawa, the Irish citizen imprisoned in Egypt since August 2013, has been postponed for a 15th time.
Mr. Halawa has been incarcerated without trial for 1,142 days so far.
It is understood that the mental and physical health of the now 20-year-old have significantly deteriorated in recent weeks.
A demonstration to support the young man’s release will take place at 5.30pm tomorrow evening at the Egyptian embassy in Ballsbridge, Dublin 4.
