Iconic Apollo House site is sold for more than €50m

The iconic Apollo House building site in Dublin has been sold for more than €50m.

According to RTÉ News, the building which was once occupied by homeless protesters was sold to Pat Crean and Partners.

It is understood the 0.72 acre site will be redeveloped into 10-storey over basement building that will provide 12,622sq.m of office space.

It is expected that development on the site will begin in the near future.

The iconic building became the subject of widespread attention in 2016 as Homeless activists occupied the building for a number of weeks in protest against the current homeless crisis.
