Mick McCarthy and the Republic of Ireland have discovered their fate in regards to their European Championships 2020 qualifying draw.
In what many hope will be an improved campaign Ireland were drawn in Group D with Switzerland, Denmark, Georgia, and Gibraltar.
Ireland will be looking to join 23 other teams by reaching the finals which will see matches played all over Europe in the summer 2020.
Ireland’s Euro 2020 qualifying campaign will get underway in March and will finish in October 2019.
