An Irishman is in a critical condition in hospital in Australia, after a workplace accident today.
The man, believed to be a plasterer in his 30s, plunged 20 metres down from a scaffolding erected on a building site in Brisbane.
He reportedly suffered multiple fractures, and is in a critical condition in hospital.
It is not immediately clear whether the man comes from Northern Ireland or the Republic.
