We may have been experiencing an up and down summer this year but forecasters at Met Eireann say the weather is about to change for the better as sunny spells and high temperatures are expected across the country over the couple of days.
Forecasters say they are expecting the majority of the country to remain relatively cool tonight, with temperatures expected to range between 5C and 9C. They say they also expect most of the country to hit searingly high temperatures tomorrow, with most of us experiencing highs of 20C to 24C. Although for those who live in the west temperatures will be slightly cooler in the west, with highs expected to be between 16C and 17C.
Met Eireann also say the expect most of the country to be mainly dry, with the west and northwest being slightly cloudier and brief drizzles hitting the hills there.
