Halloween night has left a lot of fog lingering around Munster, Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan and Roscommon this morning, making for very hazardous driving conditions indeed.
As a result, Met Eireann has issued an orange weather warning, its second highest in severity. According to the forecaster, the fog should gradually clear as the morning goes on, but isolated patches may remain for a time.
As we head towards the afternoon, it will be a dry day with good sunny spells and temperatures hovering around 14C-16C.
There will be more fog tonight though, which may wreak havoc as the Monday rush hour dawns.
