Known for her outspoken nonsense, Katie Hopkins decided to take a swipe at the Emerald Isle with a few low blow remarks.

The 41-year-old asked Angela Scanlon if we had Marks and Spencer in Ireland, to which Scanlon replied, “Yes, we do and we also have electricity.”

Katie decided that this little country of ours is ‘almost civilised’ (due to the presence of Marks and Sparks) and decided to reaffirm the fact that we ‘like potatoes’.

Scsnlon then said, “We also have manners” before Katie went on to question her on whether she prefers England to Ireland, as she currently lives in England

“You’ve come to live in England because..?”

Scanlon said she prefers Ireland, Katie simply told her to “go home then”.

To which the 33-year-old’s answer was “it pays better in England.”
