The Late Late Toy Show was the most TV programme of the year according to figures released by RTE.
RTE say a total of 1.9m viewers watched the programme throughout the entire weekend.
Figures show a total of 1.3 million people watched the show live on the night, equaling the 74% of the entire Irish viewing audience.
RTE say further 141,700 people watched the repeat show on Saturday, whilst a further 51,9000 viewers watched it on Sunday.
The show also had 116,000 live streams, whilst over 100,000 viewers watched on catch-up.
The National broadcaster said in total with all numbers reviewed their were 1.9m viewers of this year’s Greatest Showman themed event.
