There are reports this evening that an explosion has been heard in the Swedish city of Malmo, hours after a shooting incident took place.
It is understood that four people were shot, and that the suspects remain at large. A large security operation was mounted after the shooting.
Elsewhere, bomb disposal units were dispatched to an area in the northern city of Gothenburg, were a suspicious package was spotted.
It’s unknown at this time whether both incidents are related, but there are fears that terrorism may have struck again.
