A 21 year old man has been arrested and charged with the rape of a child in Cork city.
According to RTÉ News the man who has not been named for legal reasons appeared in the city’s District Court charged with four counts of rape and two counts of sexual assault which were carried out on a young girl between the years of 2011 and 2016.
The man has since been released on bail following no Garda objections and is due to appear in court on February 14th.
