Gardai and customs officials have confirmed that a man has been questioned following the seizure of 23,000 litres of beer at Dublin Port on Wednesday.
It is understood the man was detained at the port after officers from Customs and Revenue discovered the large quantity of beer during a routine search.
The beer which was worth an estimated €100,000 was seized onboard the ship which arrived from Hollyhead.
