19-year-old Londoner Michael Lawson has won The Voice of Ireland contest, after performing the song ‘7 Years’, by Lukas Graham in a final show held in The Helix in Dublin.
Lawson was coached by Bressie, who said of his protegee “People like you deserve to win because you are a natural talent and they don’t come along very often.”
The young man will be given a recording contract, and a bright future may beckon him.
