One of, if not the youngest sheep farmer in Ireland, 9-yr-old Lucy Hawking was interviewed on last night’s Ray D’Arcy Show.
The young farmer from Bandon told D’Arcy how she loves to look after her father’s sheep and help out on the farm. She also said that she hopes to go on to become a vet.
Just before the end of the segment, D’Arcy got stopped and asked by Lucy to ask her teacher to give her class the week off homework!
D’Arcy politely asked Mrs White for Monday off at least… so there you go Mrs White, if you’re reading this – you have to give Lucy’s class Monday off homework!
