There have been multiple calls on social media for 31-yr-old Simon Harris to resign from his position as Minister for Health after it’s been revealed that 208 women have now been affected by the catastrophic smear test controversy and out of that, 17 women died.
It’s understood that Harris will outline his plans today for a HIQA (Health Information and Qaulity Authority) investigation to be carried out, however many feel that Harris is too busy pushing for abortion on demand up to 3 months rather than deal with the smear test crisis.
One social media user posted “how are we meant to trust politicians with the legalities of abortion when they allowed 17 women die from wrong smear test results. It’s a disgrace.”
