Ireland’s Eurovision entry “Sunlight” sung by Nicky Byrne has failed to get past the Eurovision starting blocks.
Byrne said he is “obviously disappointed” about failing to secure a place in this weekend’s Eurovision final.
The ten countries from the second semi-final going through to Saturday’s final are – Latvia, Georgia, Bulgaria, Australia, Ukraine, Serbia, Poland, Israel, Lithuania and Belgium.
Byrne, thanked everyone for the support and said it was “a brilliant experience” and “met fantastic people”.
