In the region of 200 people are still without power this morning after technical fault occurred on Saturday.
In an announcement made on Saturday evening, the ESB say they have so far managed to restore power to 6,800 homes in Cabra, Phibsboro and Pelletstown.
The ESB say although most of the power has been restored in the affected areas, it could take a number of hours before power is completely restored.
A spokesperson for the electricity provider added we hope to have the situation rectified by midday today.
