Parents are being urged to be on alert as a potentially fatal new game called ‘Manhunt’ is growing in popularity amongst teenagers and young children.
The warning comes after a 16-year-old boy was rushed to hospital in the UK last weekend.
The game which is a twist on the classic hide and seek game has caused concern amongst British police after the boy was found unconscious in a park in Ledbury, Herefordshire, last Saturday.
Although thankfully the boy has made a full recovery, it is believed that he blacked out after he was held in a choke hold by another individual playing the game.
The dangerous game apparently sees youngsters choke one another after they are found hiding.
It is thought that the game is supposed to interpret that an individual has been strangled after they are found.
Police say parents should be made aware of the game which has grown in popularity amongst youngsters.
