The scandal of the phantom breath tests continues, after a new report finds that an extra 500,000 tests at least were entered into the system without having actually been performed.
This report suggests that many Gardai made up breath test figures, and may have exaggerated them by as much as 300%.
The total amount of phantom tests now stands at 1.4 million.
