Tayto Park is planning on becoming the new Mosney holiday destination.
The theme park has applied to Meath County Council for Planning Permission for a 250 bedroom family hotel at its plant just outside Ashbourne.
The hotel would offer accommodation and leisure facilities for up to 1,000 people with what’s being described as an “incredible experience for all”.
The hotel will have a spa, meeting rooms and a function room that can accommodate up to 1,200 people as well as a two sky bars three restaurants and a likely swimming pool.
Tayto Park say the hotel will create over 270 construction jobs and 150 full time jobs when its built.
