Police in Turkey have begun an investigation following the tragic death of a British tourist at a busy airport.
It is understood the investigation comes after the man aged in his 30s, tragically died after he fell from the door of a plane before it took off.
According to Turkish state media, the man who was left stranded at the Dalaman Airport, in southwest Turkey, after losing his ticket, got into an altercation with cabin staff which resulted in him being removed from the flight.
However as the man was being escorted from the plane he tragically fell from the doorway down onto the concrete runway resulting in him suffering broken ribs and being left unconscious.
Although emergency personnel tried to save the man he sadly passed away in hospital a short time later.
